I am an Army Civil Affairs Officer ("Warrior Diplomats") and have always had a passion for history and teaching. I graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and realized I wanted to learn more about the statistical part of economics. That led me to pursue my M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland where I also joined the U.S. Army.

I am a political constructivist (closely aligned to the solidarist view within the English School of IR) and philosophical pessimist with an attention toward and appreciation of critical theory and moralism. My notes on these subjects are for you and me to keep record of the ideas, people, and events of the past so that we can shape our future.
